Description
A set of twenty-four hand-painted figures with a diverse selection of standing poses. All are trackside workers actively engaged in track maintenance tasks including the carriage and laying of wooden railway sleepers. All the figures are wearing suitable working coveralls or overalls suitable to the task at hand. Some are actively using shovels in preparation for the laying or removal of railway sleepers. There are three separate pairs of figures actively engaged in carrying sleepers. All are wearing hardhats, some of which are of different colours allowing identification of workers, overseers and safety operatives. This set would be ideal for any requirement to populate a busy track working scene.
